Blackshirts

The Blackshirts were Fascist paramilitary groups in Italy during the period immediately following World War I and until the end of World War II. Blackshirts were also known as the National Security Volunteer Militia.

The founders of the paramilitary groups were nationalist intellectuals, former army officers or members of the special corp Arditi, young landowners opposing peasants' and country labourers' unions. Their methods became harsher as Mussolini's power grew, and they used violence and intimidation against Mussolini's opponents.

The Blackshirts were established as the squadristi in 1919 and consisted of many disgruntled former soldiers which may have numbered 200,000 by the time of Mussolini's March on Rome.

In 1922 the squadristi were reorganized into the milizia and formed numerous bandiere, and on 1 February 1923 the Blackshirts became the Volunteer Militia for National Security (Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale, or MVSN), which lasted until the Italian Armistice in 1943.

"Comment moderation is enabled because Larry Simons has proven himself a foul-mouthed troll: Larry is simply a dishonest debater - which is no surprise, really.

Larry Simons links to Carto's AmericanFreePress.
He publishes at Alex Jones' Prisonplanet.
Jones' Prisonplanet publishes Carto's AmericanFreePress articles. Cozy.

Larry Simons refuses to address these issues, or answer simple questions, or refrain from insult. So Larry's bad attitude is....gone. Bye Larry. Loser."

If all this is true, why do you PROTECT me from the scorn from others? The REAL truth is, I continually school you and you just hate the fact that I expose your lies, so you have to silence me. It has nothing to do with profanity or debating, because if it really was that, youd want others to see me do that. So, instead you PROTECT me from that.

Why is that? Hmmmmmmmmmm?????????

I'm quite happy to admit that some things on Wikipedia are hokey.

However, if you know your stuff, wiki is actually a great place to get decent summaries.

If the content of the wiki entry on Mussolini's blackshirts , quoted above, is WRONG - be my guest to prove it.

The point is - it is essentially spot-on.

So rather than deal with the facts, you're complaining about the source, and thereby avoiding dealing with the facts.

Alex Jones, as a "leader" of the 911 Troof Movement, makes a great blackshirt - as evidenced by his assault of Malkin at the DNC 08.

And his "posse" all dress in their 911 uniform......blackshirts...as evidenced by the photo above.

Are there no parallels with Italy's Blackshirts beyond the colour of their shirts? That's the question.

You are welcome to contribute your thoughts.....

Play the game, Larry - and I'll let you post.

I don't care that you disagree - I just refuse to let you spam all the threads with irrelevance, use foul-language and insults without intermission, and avoid answering simple questions. Otherwise, I'd be happy to let you post.

PLUS - I have a post comprising of Michael Parenti's "The Functions of Fascism" - that gives a more detailed account of the Italian Blackshirts.

Parenti is a political science professor in the USA. And he's a leftie - whose parents immigrated to USA FROM ITALY.

I would never suggest blindly believing everyhting in Wikipedia - but is a valuable source for summaries, esp. if you already know enough to decide if it's talking rubbish or not.

Parenti however, as a political professor surely suffices as an authority of sorts?

And Larry - you still haven't actually addressed the point about Alex Jones being so tight with Willis Carto - it's simply a fact that Alex Jones' Prisonplanet publishes Willis Carto's stuff - that he uses AFP's Big Jim Tucker......and that Carto is leading light of N America anti-semitism and proto-fascism (he's mixed up with REAL nazis)

Forget disputing there's no evidence - there is plenty - these are incontestable FACTS.

Why not address them rather than just deny them? Your prevarication does nothing for your cause.
