Interesting. You link to a site "the Nizkor Project" which in its header says "Dedicated to 12 million Holocaust victims who suffered and died
at the hands of Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime".

12 million? REALLY? Even Steven Spielberg says it was 6 million at the end of "Shindler's List". I guess he's a holocaust denier too???

You guys can't get your numbers straight, can you?

Martin Firestein said...

6 million Jews, 6 million non Jews.

6+6 is 12 last time I checked....

the_last_name_left said...

aye, 6+6=12

some methods raise it to 17?

Larry's seemingly a holocaust denier, only he's too cowardly to admit it. He prefers to meander around, equivocating. He'll say "I have never denied the Holocaust" but in the next breath offer denier arguments and falsified evidence a la David Dees for example.

I wouldn't bother trying to have a go at Nizkor, Larry.

Larry's psychotic. Local law enforcement should keep an eye on him and report back to the Feds. He might do something crazy.

I had to delete another post of his. He said something about TLNL being gay and something else about syphilis. He shows clear signs of being a latent homosexual, not to be confused with the healthy version. Larry's insane and a waste of time.

Larry is clearly a Holocaust denier. He thinks about 200,000 Jews were murdered by the Nazis. He was thoroughly exposed on a thread called National Wingnut Appreciation Day at my humble blog. TLNL's a good guy, smart, and logical and doesn't deserve the crap he's taken on the net over the years. I'm glad to have have some decent dialogue with him and a few others, just a few, to make this internet experience worth the trouble. Marty, if you don't want TLNL to quit, you and other good people need to start posting more. That will take away the bitter taste of Larry's type of venom. It will also lead to better blogs. There are too many lurkers who have let people like TLNL down. Some places it was pointless to try to help him out.

Tokyo Shemp said...

TLNL, your being burned out is natural. I think your best bet is to find some other topics. That's how I have survived. I can see your love for writing. I'm not saying never again write on Rivero and people like him. But it'd be nice to read your take on other things. It wouldn't take a million posters to show up for people like us to develop nice blogs. Just a good number of quality people. I've seen Trausti's new forum. That's not the place for you, imho. Those people aren't worthy of your time. Seek out better people, and your blogging will feel special. You have skills, Lad. You're fun to talk to with. Keep your chin up and please don't quit. The internet needs more people like you, not one less.

"I had to delete another post of his. He said something about TLNL being gay and something else about syphilis."

Ahhh yes, you completely left out the MAIN POINT of my post, that TLNL avoided my Lincoln comment.

Socrates' translation: Larry said something about TLNL refusing to comment about Larry's Lincoln comment on Larry's blog after I asked for the debate to be taken to someone else's blog and away from mine---and Larry did that, and TLNL is still ignoring the subject of Lincoln being racist--and I had to delete that comment because it exposed the fact that TLNL is avoiding Larry's proof of Lincoln being racist.

"Larry's seemingly a holocaust denier, only he's too cowardly to admit it. He prefers to meander around, equivocating."

You mean, DESPITE the fact that you ADMITTED that in one of my past stories, I flat out said that "until I see EVIDENCE that it was 6 million, I'll stick with 6 million?"

You two dipshits NEVER PRESENTED ONE FACT OR ONE PIECE OF EVIDENCE that it was 6 million---and when I REPEATEDLY stated that the word "holocaust" means "mass extermination" and that even ONE million or TWO million would classify as a holocaust too, I got total silence from you on that.

Also, NEITHER of you two presented ONE verified source that it was 6 million. We are just supposed to accept the official story of 6 million hook, line and sinker? You two believe in conspiracies when it SUITS your agenda. When it doesnt, you call others "nuts".

"He'll say "I have never denied the Holocaust" but in the next breath offer denier arguments and falsified evidence a la David Dees for example."

Yeah, that's called being impartial and listening to BOTH sides of the argument and getting you to answer questions from Dees that you CONTINUALLY IGNORED.

"some methods raise it to 17"

What method raised it to 6 million? You NEVER EVER answered that. It will be ignored THIS time too. Hmmm, why stop at 17 million? Why not 25 million? 40 million?

You two NEVER addressed the fact that Hitler [who you demonize constantly] was FUNDED BY THE BANK OF ENGLAND, among others as well, including General Motors, IBM and the Harriman boys. It will be IGNORED this time too.

"He thinks about 200,000 Jews were murdered by the Nazis."

Never said that---ever. My question was, what evidence is there that it wasnt ONLY 200,000? In fact, in one story of mine, I said, and I REPEAT:

"until I see EVIDENCE that it was 6 million, I'll stick with 6 million"

This will be ignored.

"He was thoroughly exposed on a thread called National Wingnut Appreciation Day at my humble blog."

LOL, I was? Wanna give ONE example where I was "exposed"? LOL

"TLNL's a good guy, smart, and logical and doesn't deserve the crap he's taken on the net over the years. I'm glad to have have some decent dialogue with him and a few others, just a few, to make this internet experience worth the trouble."

Translation: Because he agrees with me

"Marty, if you don't want TLNL to quit, you and other good people need to start posting more. That will take away the bitter taste of Larry's type of venom"...

Translation: It will give me more supporters on the blog to fire back at Larry when he clobbers me with facts and exposes my lazy, 5-second investigations [like my classic one where I said 6 previous presidents were not American citizens, which Larry completely exposed me on].

"It will also lead to better blogs"

Translation of "better" to socrates:

Blogs I agree with that dont humiliate me when I conduct piss-poor, lazy "investigations" of my facts [like 6 presidents were not American citizens...which I was completely schooled on by Larry].

Larry said...

Another thing that makes me laugh out loud 'til my ribs hurt is the fact that on the Nizkor website it says [of holocaust deniers]:

""The real purpose of holocaust revisionism is to make
National Socialism an acceptable political alternative again."

Yet, you two dickheads praise and support Barack Obama, who is a national socialist!!!!

Amazing!

Tokyo Shemp said...

Larry needs to be watched by local authorities. He comes across as if he's so angry about the "new world order" he's going to flip out and commit violence.

I also never said there were six Presidents who weren't American citizens. I pointed out that there were a bunch like Obama who have had parents from other countries. I ackowledged that it wasn't relevant. Larry's a nut. He says Obama isn't a natural born American citizen, and thus not eligible to be President. He bases that on his father being from kenya. But when you ask him for proof that a President can't be a natural born citizen if his parents are foreigners, he comes up with nothing.

Larry is a waste of time. He links prominently to neonazi Holocause deniers. Then he says he isn't one depsite being a big fan of David Dees and many others like him.

Larry's mad that he's such a failure as a conspiracy theory writer. He got rejected by Alex Jones. He gets next to no traffic or comments at his dive of a blog. He seems ready to explode. Hopefully the local police in his area are well aware of his activities and keeping an eye on him. He sounds like a candidate for the next story of internet person goes nuts and creates mayhem. I gave Larry every chance to post on my blog, but he couldn't keep his gutter mouth in check. Lincolc was a racist? So what. It had nothing to do about a blog entry on Thomas Jefferson. I don't care about Larry. He's a loser. He's rotten to the core. He's what is referred to as a troll.

Larry said...

"Larry needs to be watched by local authorities. He comes across as if he's so angry about the "new world order" he's going to flip out and commit violence."

"Left" wing people do that---I'm not "left" wing.

By the way Socrates, when one is forced to resort to ad hominem attacks or character assassination [saying someone will act out in violence] that only means one thing: you cant refute a goddamned thing they say---and you havent refuted ONE thing Ive ever said.

"I also never said there were six Presidents who weren't American citizens. I pointed out that there were a bunch like Obama who have had parents from other countries. I ackowledged that it wasn't relevant."

"like" Obama? None were, they ALL had American parents---UNlike Obama whose father was a Brit.

You claimed it wasnt relevant because I refuted and crushed you with facts and exposed your lazy "investigation" of the subject.

"But when you ask him for proof that a President can't be a natural born citizen if his parents are foreigners, he comes up with nothing."

I proved it over and over with the Constitution that basically says that the ONLY ones who are eligible who do NOT have American parents are the ones who were alive at the adoption of the Constitution. You two NEVER addressed WHY there is a grandfather clause in the Constitution if NOT for the FACT that it MATTERS that president eligibility is based on where the candidates PARENTS are born.

ALL 6 presidents in the link you sent me were ALL BORN in the United States---so whats the purpose of the grandfather clause if American parental citizenship had nothing to do with eligibility?

Alexander Hamilton is a GREAT example of my point. Hamilton was NOT born in America NOR had American citizen parents. He was not eligible to run for Prez even under the grandfather clause because his parents were NOT American citizens. Under YOUR logic and view----he WOULD HAVE been allowed under the grandfather clause---but he was not eligible to run. I've proven why.

I KNEW EVERY point I made in my last posts would be IGNORED by you. You come back with personal attacks and goobly-gook that is supposed to resemble a refutation. I got "rejected" by Alex Jones? I was proud to have my stories removed after I showed integrity and reported FACTS, even in the face of losing my status as a PP writer. How many people can say that they have stood up to the very people they had supported for years and call them liars? Not many [including you two].

How about responding with refutations of what Im saying and can the 2nd grade personal attacks??

Are you capable of that?

YOU two assholes are the ones who are more prone to violence, since you are:

1. "Left" wing [most nuts who shoot up places are, as I have proven]

2. Afraid to post your REAL names

[your REAL names are socrates and TLNL?]

LOL

god, you're a moron, Larry.

What a diatribe! Obama is a Nazi? A national Socialist! Oh - that's news. Who'd have thought it? Only a raving nut could.

And Hamilton is not a "good example" of your completely WRONG belief about the eligibility for Presidency.

Hamilton wasn't eligible because he was born in the British West Indies, not because his parents weren't American.

I found two articles by someone you have previously claimed to be credible - lawyer, Jonathan Turley. And guess what - he agrees with my position, and completely disagrees with yours.

Here's your own credible source on presidential eligibility, specifically speaking about Hamilton:

"In 1787 ... the framers insisted that any president be natural born — that is, born within the United States. It is a requirement that some of us have long criticized as counter to our tradition as a nation of immigrants.

Alexander Hamilton was viewed as ineligible due to his birth in the West Indies. It has often been suggested that the provision was written in part to block Hamilton by his detractors — though this may be apocryphal.

SOURCE

and

The problem is found in Article II, Section 1, which limits the presidency to “a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution,” who is at least 35 years old and has been a U.S. resident for 14 years.

Many historians believe this rule was created by opponents of Alexander Hamilton to keep him from being president because of his birth in the West Indies. Though this was likely an interest of some framers, Hamilton could have claimed eligibility since he was a citizen when the Constitution was adopted and had been a resident for 15 years.

SOURCE

---------------
Contrary to your claims, Larry, you have been entirely refuted. Again and again. That you miss it, is your problem.

Obama's a nazi....the holocaust didn't happen....blah blah blah. Crazy.

What a joke.

As Turley (your own approved source) says: "The standard is so clear that it has barred some deserving candidates." It's not clear enough for LArry, befogged as he is by some incredible muddle.

@Socrates - thanks, you're very kind.

TLNL, I just found the part where Larry claimed to be a doctor. You confronted him, or better put, you asked him about it. Then Larry said one can be a doctor if they have a Phd, and that it's none of your business. I pity Larry. I truly do. He's nasty, but still, who claims to be a doctor when they aren't? The only thing I can verify about him is that he graduated High School. Good for him.

Tokyo Shemp said...

Larry should post the exact thing he's talking about from the Constitution. He's yet to explain how that trumps the definition of natural born citizens found in US law codes. Whatever is in the constitution was time sensitive for the grandfather clause thingie seeing America hadn't even established itself yet as an independent country. This guy's brain isn't working. I doubt he even got a Bachelor's degree. Maybe some community college, one of those two year associate degrees, perhaps one of those community colleges for people not ready for the real thing. He claims to be a doctor. If it's no one's business, he shouldn't have mentioned it. No one's asking him for specific locations, just what did he study and what is his degrees in. That's not too much to ask. Now I understand why he is raging all the time. He got busted in a big lie.

Tokyo Shemp said...

Yikes, sorry for bad grammar and diction.

the_last_name_left said...

Doctor, architect, constitutional expert.....Larry's all this and more.

For Larry's next trick he is going to rewrite the political textbooks and define Obama-ism as national-socialism.

Hold onto your hats. :D

Martin Firestein said...

As much as it annoys the living bejesus out of me, I can understand why Larry, or anyone else would confuse socialism and national socialism - they both have "socialism" in their names, so naturally if you go based just on outward appearances, of course they're the same. But if you study history like I have, they're at the opposite ends of the spectrum, and completely incompatible.

National Socialism is a doctrine focusing on the glory of the state. It seeks to unite all classes within a particular country (upper, middle, lower) for that purpose, and bends it with a rabid racism towards Jews and non whites, and features a close alliance between government and big business.

Socialism is a working class movement, which seeks to put the control over the means of production in the hands of the proletariat and take it out of the hands of the burgeoisie. And if I read my Marx correctly, socialism is eventually suppose to lead into communism, in which the state (which Marxists see as the means by which the upper classes control and exploit the proletariat, and hoard all the wealth and power for themselves) dissolves or is terminated.

A system like National Socialism which glorifies the nation state is completely at odds with a system that ultimately seeks to destroy it.

Larry said...

"Hamilton wasn't eligible because he was born in the British West Indies, not because his parents weren't American."

HEY MORON, I ALREADY ADDRESSED THAT!

Hamilton would have been grandfathered in under the grandfather clause to be eligible for President! Do you EVER read ALL of my posts? Obviously NOT!

You quoted Turley as saying:

"Alexander Hamilton was viewed as ineligible due to his birth in the West Indies. It has often been suggested that the provision was written in part to block Hamilton by his detractors — though this may be apocryphal."

HE WOULD HAVE BEEN ELIGIBLE UNDER THE GRANDFATHER CLAUSE!WHAT DO YOU NOT GET???????

You refuted YOURSELF with your OWN post when you posted:

"Many historians believe this rule was created by opponents of Alexander Hamilton to keep him from being president because of his birth in the West Indies. Though this was likely an interest of some framers, Hamilton could have claimed eligibility since he was a citizen when the Constitution was adopted and had been a resident for 15 years."

My god, you are the biggest MORON on Earth!!

the_last_name_left said...

Don't imagine you'll get a sane reply, Martin. ;)

Or maybe you will, and Larry will have surprised some of us.

---
L: HE WOULD HAVE BEEN ELIGIBLE UNDER THE GRANDFATHER CLAUSE!WHAT DO YOU NOT GET???????

Yes, Larry - which is what I have been saying.

You take one loosely phrased sentence of mine.....tsk.

However, apparently you now recognise why the grandfather clause is there - good.

You are obviously completely wrong on this point Larry. Just face it?

Likewise with national socialism and Obama - rather than claim you know all about them and what they are.....why don't you enquire instead? Nothing wrong in being ignorant really, but to be full of shit....well.....why bother? Learn something, instead of telling everyone how it is?

Larry said...

I said he "WOULD HAVE BEEN"....."WOULD HAVE BEEN"-----IF his parents were American citizens! If it was only required that HE [Hamilton] be an American citizen---he would have been eligible! WOULD HAVE BEEN. In OTHER WORDS, if what YOU ARE SAYING is true, he could have ran for President-----but youre WRONG, which is why he wasnt eligible. Clear enough?

Do you need flash cards?

the_last_name_left said...

L: he wasnt eligible.

why? and what is your source for the claim?

As your boyo Turley says, and which I already quoted, ---->

"Hamilton could have claimed eligibility since he was a citizen when the Constitution was adopted and had been a resident for 15 years."

Even though he was not natural born.......

See - not hard to understand, really. And so you've now come to understand what the grandfather clause was about - which was explained to you previously and which you claim has not been explained previously. It has been explained previously and now, finally, it appears you've caught up.

Now all that remains is for you to understand what "natural-born" means, and then we'll all be on the same page. Wow! ;)

the_last_name_left said...

Out of interest, why do you think Obama is a national-socialist, Larry?

Give us some reasons? Why are you persuaded of the idea?

Lsrry said...

Well I like Turley, but he' wrong on that one---especially the part about 15 years. The Constutution says it's 14 years that someone has to be a citizen. The grandfather clause does not take precedence over not having US born parents. It only takes precedence over not having been born inside the US.Using YOUR logic, Hamilton could have run...why didn't me?

the_last_name_left said...

It seems Hamilton could have stood. But, there was a lot of opposition?

That he didn't stand doesn't mean there were legal reasons against his standing. Who says it was because of the reasons you suggest? Turley doesn't say it - he says Hamilton could have stood, under the now defunct part of the clauses about being alive at the time of adoption (of the articles.)

----

And how about Obama and national-socialism then?

Tokyo Shemp said...

I found two very good movies dealing with anti-semitism. Gentleman's Agreement and Ship of Fools. You should check them out asap, because they could be deleted. That would be time better spent than listening to some lunatic argue that Obama is not a natural born American and illegally in office.

Tokyo Shemp said...

Anyone who claims Obama is a socialist is simply talking rubbish. One might as well debate some fool who thinks the world is flat or the moon landing was faked. Images of such people could be put in the dictionary as an illustration for words such as nutjob and crackpot.

As for the doctor thing, here's my take. Maryland is abbreviated as MD. MD also refers to doctors. The website that described Larry as a doctor jumped to the wrong conclusion. I don't why anyone would make such a mistake. It's baffling. And then why Larry couldn't have explained that is also a chin scratcher. His response was that a doctor can also be someone who got a PhD. I doubt Larry ever even went to a four year college. He then went into his typical insane mode demanding his posts be acknowledged. He sounds autistic. Something ain't right with how his brain functions.
